WELcome
to the home port of the Bumboat. The Bumboat's port
of call is the Vermilion Yacht Club in Vermilion, Ohio. The vessel
is a Jeanneau 54 Deck Salon (54 foot, 43 gross ton sloop). The
Bumboat routinely sails in the western basin of Lake Erie and has been known to wander about the upper Great Lakes. The captain's
crew includes his family, friends, and clients/employees of
the RoviSys Company.

new section of the Bumboat website has been added. The Image
Gallery has five subsections which displays various images
collected over the last few years. Most images are of sufficient
quality to create prints up to 16 x 20 inches. |

of lighthouses and ships are on display at RoviSys. The Bumboat
website will be featuring his models in the near future. |

Cowl vents suck fresh air into the cabin, even under the most adverse conditions. Water (rain and waves) shipped in the opening is separated from the air in the dorade box before entering the cabin. |

| The summer sailing camp in Vermilion is heading out to the lake. These kids have better boating skills than most adults on the river. |

On a voyage across Lake Erie this summer the winds increased, rather than decrease as the forecast predicted. Winds built to over 30 knots sustained and the seas were a solid six feet. We got a good deck washing from 20 miles north of Avon Point until Cleveland. |

bumboat sailed with the tall ships off Cleveland in July.It's going
to take a while to sort through the 100s of images. |
